According to TMZ and sources close to Ye, the outspoken emcee is done making exclusive deals with all streaming services after the fallout with Jay-Z’s Tidal.
Apparently the deal went sour after last year’s release of Kanye’s Life of Pablo. The album was released exclusively on Tidal for a month and a half, this did not register well with Ye. Sources say that Kanye, with the revolutionary and visionary that he is, wants his music to be shared across as many platforms as possible.

It’s been a rough year for Ye with the mental breakdown, Kim getting robbed and his fallout without Jay-Z himself but this move definitely has won him some brownie points with myself and fans alike. All of us don’t want to buy no damn Tidal and furthermore all music fans don’t use the same platform to stream music so why limit the people that make your music limitless.
